I think it's pretty sharp now, Frank. Have you tried any post on it,
like unsharp? Just a smidge would make a noticeable difference.

Yeah, used unsharp mask (can't remember the values) on the bug. Don't think I'd
want to sharpen more.

I didn't mean to put down that lens. It's a terrific all-rounder, and yes, it's
close-focusing capabilities aren't bad at all.
Still think it would have been better yet with my macro. :-)

No macro on me.
He sat still for about a minute. I got several shots with the 18-55 kit zoom.
This was the best of them:

me. I had the Tamron 90 with me but decided I may miss the opportunity if I
went for a lens change, besides 90mm would have been a little
