shadows very well. Program metering or?

Shot with Center Weighted metering. I suspect I metered on the
foreground rock. Probably double check the histogram after to make
sure I didn't blow the water. Lack of bright sun helped. Then
shooting in raw to allow tweaking during conversion also helped.
