Ths Krupp shot is obviously heavily staged as a portrait with the
subjects cooperation.
Is it a character study? Perhaps the subject and photographer thought so, maybe
even the general public in 1962. Today in 2009, I see a pretty
picture of an older executive.

50-135 or Sigma 180 like Mark has, look like two great lenses.

Last Friday I had to shoot a portrait of my daughter for her music

I like the first one the best, but the reflections on the instrument
are a distracting element that draw my eye to it.
