Wow!
Tint and colors work in an interesting way. It is so blue, it seems it
would spill out to the left... ;-).
Fisheye effect also
Thanks all for your comments. Yes, the photo was taken by fisheye as
someone guessed so thats why its rounded. It was not possible to get
the whole lake into the shot at that time because of the sun position,
if I remember correct.
And no, I did not have the chance (fortunately) to swim in it,
WOW.
Beautiful colours.
My only though is it would have been nice if the horizon were more
level. Tricky, with what looks like a shot made with a fisheye, but
IMO would have been an improvement.

A strong image!
You must have cheated/tweaked a bit with the colours, there is no lake
that blue in Norway, no way.
Thanks for sharing, and thanks for telling where it is. There is just one
thing, there are several areas called Laagen, so it doesn't really tell me
anything ;-)

Oh water can be blue alright. In my experience, it's easier to see the further
north you get, because of the lower angle of the sun and increased intensity of
blue in the sky.
The Låg that is just Lågen is usually NumedalsLågen. The lower part of this
watershed is at least the only valley I know

Indeed you have some beautiful places in Norway and I like your photo.
Of course, it would have been nice to see all of the lake on the left an cut
a bit of the bright stones on the right for me.
