Thanks all for your comments. Yes, the photo was taken by fisheye as someone guessed so thats why its rounded. It was not possible to get the whole lake into the shot at that time because of the sun position, if I remember correct. And no, I did not have the chance (fortunately) to swim in it,

Oh water can be blue alright. In my experience, it's easier to see the further north you get, because of the lower angle of the sun and increased intensity of blue in the sky. The Låg that is just Lågen is usually NumedalsLågen. The lower part of this watershed is at least the only valley I know
