What a beautiful gallery, Fracis.
Well done.

Stunning work. You even made flying rats
Many good pictures here Francis. Hard to pick out a winner. I have my
favourites, but that's just me.
I know nothing about selling pictures. Except that I would like to be able
to sell some myself ;-)
I am planning to do some bird shooting myself. I found some inspiration and
ideas here. Thanks

Excellent work. I would eliminate two: the second one (out of focus
flying ducks) and the last one (small bird seen from the rear). The
rest are fine for stock or sale. Good job.

The BBC competition is another thing entirely. The competition is
fierce, and it takes something very special to get noticed. Try if you
wish, but don't be disappointed if your efforts are for naught.

Frances,
Thanks for the look at some fine work! It shows incredible patience and
a good eye.
IMHO, (left to right) #1 and #14 (first owl) are my choices from the
group. I've often been surprised by what is chosen by contest judges.
If you were to submit these to ten different judges you might have

I find it very interesting which ones people liked most, especially
because they barely overlap at all.
I agree that the BBC contest would be a long shot, but I just wanted to
see what you thought. If only my birthday was in August instead of

Now you understand about the variation of opinions held by those
viewing art work. Same with judges.
When I present portfolios for potential buyers, I NEVER know what
they'll pick..if any. However, I'm no longer surprised.

You then must move the thumbnails along to find the last pic you looked

It bothers me a bit that, on my monitor, 'one' of my thumbnails doesn't
show on my gallery directory page, although
I like many of these. I'm not big on contests just because so much is in
the eye of the beholder.
It's also hard to predict salability of a single shot... it's possibly
easier to market a group as self-published greeting cards or a calendar.
I'll tell you the ones I especially like, left to

OH!..I'm sorry. It's that 'kind' thing I can't seem to shake.
I'll work on a knowing air of gloating contempt rather than offer
assistance.
That way I'll insure my spot on the list. (guffaw)

Just for fun. :) Here is the contest I was referring to.
On my system the pictures are all in one row, which leaves a lot of unused
space beneath them, and forces me to scroll across - not very user friendly.
You might want to distribute them across several rows so the viewer can get
a better overview.
