What's next Harry? I'm looking at the 100mm 2.8 and the 50mm 2.8 macro they have, maybe you should move first! :-) It will save me money! That brought a big smile to my face. Before making any other purchases I am waiting to see what additional taxes I have to pay on the lens when it arrives

Ok, I will be more specific about my KEH repairs experience (which happened about a month ago). My MX had two problems: 1. lousy meter (inaccurate and drained batteries) 2. focusing -- what I saw in focus on the GG wasn't on the film. I have contacted them (i.e. KEH) and asked if they can

I'd be interested in what you find, since my MX could use a CLA for the same reasons. Doesn't leak light in the back, but the foam that pads the mirror when it slaps up is nonexistent, and I'm not sure that the mirror stops are still the way it should be. Camera still works, though :-) -Mat

As I was playing with my new MX toys I noticed the back of one of my MX bodies is not securing tightly. If I press the back near where it latches (the side opposite from the hinge), it moves in (and comes back out when I release the pressure). That can't be right! :-) Well, at least my other

$220 seems OK if you prefer to keep working with a MX. But not $290. Here a CLA is around 105-115 $ can + 15% tax. And that imply going up to the shutter, so it's no big deal to replace the curtains once you're there. I could ask for a quotation if you want to go on with an MX as there are
