I recently purchased a nifty Jupiter 9 85/2 in M42 screwmount. It came with a decent looking adapter K. (The whole thing was cheaper than two cases of Heineken. Yes I realize this lens is probably NOT to be mentioned in the same breath with a real Pentax 85/2 but hey for $50 and besides

Thanks for the help, guys. I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be an M42 to K adapter. Several M42 lenses thread into it effortlessly, it just doesn't mate up to a k mount body. It looks perfect but it's probably just junk. Anyway, I found K adapters on BH, but none of them seem to be genuine
