The thing that pisses me off about this article is the fact that none
of the ten things written about are secrets at all. All you have to
do to find them and understand all about them is read the freekin'

you can set custom white balance and the camera only reads the area
within the spot metering circle rather than averaging the entire frame).

I did read the manual and I still subscribe. I'm not sure if you counted me
in that three or not.
You can't ask for too much at a US dollar per issue. I've found enough
content to keep by subscribing
There are other things in the magazine. Sometimes (a few times a year)
I'll pick up a copy, mostly to read the ads and see if there's anything new
out in the world that may be interesting. Mostly I read it for free at a
book shop while enjoying a cuppa Joe. It's certainly not one of those mags

As I said before, I think we share a lot more curmudgeonly behaviors
than is often apparent. ;-)
I bought this issue ... first time in years I've purchased a Pop
Photo ... because I didn't have time to read it at the magazine
stand. I should have taken the time: it cost me $5 or so and
BTW, I waste my time reading it because, at that time, I've got some time
to waste.
