I'd noticed that DL doesnt allow changing image rendering settings in
factory preset modes, so I use Tv for Action/Sport, M anytime I know
better what I'm doing and AV for all other normal situations.

I live in Sydney so it is a challenge to get soft northern light. So,
when life gives you lemons, make lemonade :) IR has the virtue of being
very forgiving about the harshness of light.

Most unfortunately the terror attack just took place in the area of
Tel Aviv central bus station. It is about 3 mins worth of walk from my
office. I went up to the 18th (top) floor of the building where I work
and took some pictures with the new lens...

owner has used pliers in an attempt to straighten the ring. ;(
If they're not too badly damaged I use a sharp icepick to fix

The one thing that can't be fixed is when the impact was from

interesting look at an attractive area, but it doesn't really grab me.
It looks a bit soft, almost like an unsharpened digital. It might also
