That's the one. I bought one and a 24-90 at the same time a few years ago, and shot one roll of slides with each (remember slides???). The 24-90 was clearly better in contrast, sharpness, and light fall-off (not to mention the extra 4mm at the wide end), so I returned the 28-70. Rick --- David

I have a modest size Beseler sling bag, tried a Domke and a Tamrac as well. I've looked at the Lowerpro 200 AW. For some uses they are convenient, but for most I find them rather awkward to work with. i have a Lowepro CompuTrekker AW, which is a great bag when i want to carry a ton of gear

I agree. I recall that when I was shooting a lot of motorsports, everyone hung their cameras around their neck. Most used more than one, and when loading film, a neck strap was essential. A good strap places the camera within easy reach and there is never any concern about the strap slipping
