Oh, I’d love to join all of you in London. There’s this work thing going on,
though.
Alan, you’ll love the K-5. The sensor is better in every way than the K-7’s
(sensitivity, tonal range, rendition), and the AF is much better. Not up to
K-5II or K-3 standards, I’m sure, but still an
G'day all,

Note: The automated submission process usually works well but it's not

let me know.
The new photo.net barfs chunks, and the management doesn’t care.
Each of those pics could use some tonal and contrast adjustment; and one could
crop out the guy on the left in the first one.
I like the modern tractor in the background of the third one.

I mostly agree, I'd just crop about 15% off the right and bottom.

Many seriously nice choices. Too many to name, but am especially taken with
William Robbs, Eaton House.
Were it mine, I'd proudly have a sizeable vertical print of the center window
on my wall.

A very interesting and impressive gallery.
"Subterranean Cistern," by by Matt Emmett, is a simply stunning image. I
spent quite a time just staring into it.
I also love "Black Dyke" by Henk Terhell. It is a classic composition,
with the graceful curve of the water-filled ruts leading the eye
Test 1 - from Yahoo.
Haven't received anything from the list since Larry's "Lens Rentals and

Ann & I will be visiting family & friends in the UK from 8th to 27th Sept.
Bob W is arranging a PDML London get together but no date or venue yet. I
will also be united with a (Hoya) K5 body ex Mark Cassino. Taking my DA
18-55 WR to try it out. I am hoping the sensor will be an improvement
Will be in London from ~22:00hrs 13/09 to 17:00hrs 14/09. In meetings from
10:30 to about 13:00hrs on 14th but free before and after. KX area.

It seems to be working, John.
I believe the problem is that there are very few still posting to the PDML.

Good! I never hesitate to use the
back-up K5 I carry. It's kept in
a smallish satellite bag along with
a DA 16-45 & a 50-135. The K3 is
mated with the DFA 150-450 which
is always taken along.
Cheers!
