We just call them milkweeds. Are the ones you use the same? In Rhodesian days just W of Salisbury there was a Milkweed forest for several Km along the banks of the Marimba River. Always thousands of Monarchs in evidence. Now that it is Zimbabwe it is highly likely this unique place in no more.
