That abandoned house was in Upton, Wisconsin southwest of Hurley in the
old Gogebic Iron Range. Here's a link to its location on Google Maps.
The latest aerial imagery is from 2023 and I can't tell if the house is
still there, but if you go to street view, which is from 2009, you can

Thanks! passed quite near to it in 1989 driving west to east along
route 2. on our way home from Alaska. Have a few shots from the area one
in Florence WI, another of the Iron Mountain MI rail station.. and a
Midway something -- gas station or cafe.

Looking way ahead. We are doing an Alaska coastal trip in August, Vancouver
B.C. up to Seward and back. I had originally planned extra time in Alaska but
decided to try something totally different. So, we’ll fly to Toronto Thursday
morning, 10 August, stay in a downtown hotel Thursday-Sunday,

The zoo is nice.. Kensington market area fun to wander around in and
that is next to Chinatown
where the food is yummy. Royal Ontario Museum .
