It will work, but it’s hardly worth it. You’d have to use an adapter on each end, and the quality of those old Vivitar converters is not stellar. You can probably find a K-mount version of a similar adapter for less than the cost of the adapters. Of course what you really want is the new Pentax

It would be pretty obvious if it's screw mount. Since it's labeled automatic I assume it's Pentax/Praktica mount and not some horrible T mount monstrosity. The problem is that while there are a variety of M42 to K mount adapters available, there are none to put K mount lenses on M42 mount
