A well-photographed and enjoyable set of images!

My favorites are the path through the woods (#21) and the stacked wood
lean-to (#27).

Very nice little gallery!

I especially like the panoramic view of the pier (or jetty).

WTBF: Beseler 4x5 negative carriers

2022-11-04 Thread Bill

Wanted to buy Friday as opposed to for sale Friday..

Anyway, when I disposed of my darkroom gear I foolishly let my negative
carriers go, and now I am wanting.

What I am wanting is Beseler 4x5 enlarger neg carriers for the following
neg sizes: 35mm, 35mm slide, 6x7 or 6x9 and 4x5.

Age doesn't really matter, Beseler 45 carriers didn't change from at
least the 1950s onwards.

Wear through use is fine, as long as the plates are flat, I'm good.

I will provide reasonable remuneration as well as for shipping.

If you can help me out, I would be most happy.

The TPS gang, all three of us, took a stroll along the Countryside trails
in Uxbridge Ont yesterday, nice weather, and to see what mother nature had
to offer for fall photos. Colour is pretty much gone and the plants and
trees are in winter mode now but still plenty of photo ops,

Re: OT Geso PAEC

2022-11-04 Thread David J Brooks
Alan, they are tagged for tracking and breeding purposes. Trumpeter swans
were near extinction and this farm I go to participated in a part of the
breeding program. The numbers are now up considerably and they are just
letting them breed naturally now

Re: OT Geso PAEC

2022-11-04 Thread Toine
Tagged for research. How long they live and where, migration etc. Most
birds are tagged with rings on their legs. Large tags like on the swans can
be read without catching a bird. GPS trackers are expensive and don't last
a lifetime.

2022-11-04 Thread ann sanfedele

I agree it is a nice gallery , and told Dave so in another post...

Dan, the swans are wild -   they are tundra swans. Black beak is the
key.  and so are the mallards , come to think of it ..

Yeah, Toine, those tags are awfully big.. ugh poor swan

Nice gallery, with many fine images.

These look like farm animals, rather than "wildlife," however, except for

Great expression on the Jack-O-Lantern in image D723750!
