Good to know that you've found a work-around. Do I think it's a coincidence
that deliveries are good to two lawyer offices? I think it's more likely that
the drivers are just lazy, not lazy and stupid.

The camera worked just fine with the small dedicated flash that came with my
X-T1, but refused to work with my Pocket Lizards, or my old Pentax IR flash

It turns out there is a useless menu item to turn the PC socket on or off, with
the default being off.
As the camera comes, nothing works, find this obscure setting and everything
works.
Of course I didn't discover this until after the session.

My fall back position today was the K1 and D FA* 85/1.4, so it's not like as if
I was in bad shape, it's superb camera/lens combination and it served me well,
as it always does.

Anyway, this is a simple 3 light set-up with the lens set to f/2.8.

Over here, a recorder is either a tape or cassette recorder and your

Re: PESO: Table Lamp. No Pentax Content

2023-03-05 Thread Daniel J. Matyola
I have always had good service from UPS. I surmise the quality of their
service varies from one area to another, and depends on the local
management and drivers. I knew the two drivers whose routes included my
off9ce, and we called each other by our respective first names. They were
loyal employees and eager to please their local customers. I don't have
the same relationship with the drivers who serve my home neighborhood, but
their service has been dependable and on-time. In bad weather they leave
the packages on my front stop under the roof, rather that at the garage
door, and ring the bell to let us know something is there.

It seems of late Amazon is doing a lot of Sunday deliveries (I am expecting
a package this afternoon). They seem to be using USPS trucks and drivers
for that; I assume because USPS normally does not deliver on Sundays.
