that I perceived in my original 055 (purchased March '86)
and an associates 055 (purchased '00 still had the circular section centre
post) was that the latter had a seemingly more flimsy leg setting angle setting

Btw, you have a great expensive scanner in hand almost everyday if I'm
not mistaken. Shoot a print with your Oly, that ought to be good enough
for simple use on the web.
No prints, only processed film and slides, I have used the E-10 to copy prints
but it's far from optimal.

I would rank my cameras from most audible in this sequence, P645, MZ-S, LX, M6

Alkali cells weigh in at around 24g each
and a 1600mAh NiMH cell weighs ~26.75g. I have Li cells in my MZ-S, I use Ni-MH
in my flashes and when I am out for the day with my digicam I pack three sets

cause veiling flare when bouncing around the
lens hood (which you would have fitted of course :-). Also both the front and
rear surfaces can reflect light from light sources front or rear.
The Inner surface coating will also reduce the reflections off the front
element of the lens.

shoot a little wider than my final vision and crop
to perfection during the printing phase. Why because
with the higher resolution formats you can afford
to crop, with 35mm you cant.
Is that one of those cast in stone photographers rules?

colour profile. If a digital image editing system is set up
properly colour output will be far more accurate and repeatable than most any
analogue system.
If you have a reliable lab that can print digital files locally you will have
acceptable prints back in no time.
