So sorta I fixed my 16-45. I will send my worst copy off to CRIS and
have them tighten and align it since I think it has problems beyond
just a wobbly barrel and looks sort of decentered. My fix was simple.
Realizing that when the barrel was aligned and not drooping I was
getting fairly sharp
If you ask me it sounds like the lens isn't communicating with the
body. Did you try cleaning all the contacts? If it has an aperture
ring also try rotating off A and back. Since its not reading the lens
type and focal length, I'm guessing its just not talking. I don't know
if the electronics go
I'm seriously considering the F 70-210 next as I keep seeing them on
KEH for really cheap. I'm really loving this non-SMC Takumar 70-200
f4. In fact it rarely leaves the camera anymore even though its the
wrong focal length 90% of the time. Its not even great @ 200mm, but
serviceable stopped down
Full frame lenses on APS-C are a mixed bag. A 16mp sensor is going to
outresolve all but the best lenses. On one hand, you are taking from
the sweet spot which is where the lens resolves the most detail, but
on the other hand you are not utilizing the full image circle of the
lens and thus
Oooohdoes it work well? I heard the k-5 had problems with
conversion and people thought SR was to blame.

Good filters are worth the $$$. Almost always.

I recommend BW. You just can't go wrong with anything they sell I'm
convinced. My 77mm CPL that Heliopan manufactured is pretty flawless
too, I mean other than the fact that it costs me 2 stops in light, but
that can come in quite handy sometimes as well.I've heard good
things about the hoya
I found it rather amusing myself. :P

I must be a masochist. Lately my daily kit has consisted of a k-7, A50
1.7, A35-105, DA16-45, Takumar 70-210 f4, 25mm extension tube, extra
battery and cards and a FA 28-80 that comes in handy when I need a
lens I can beat on and do coverage type shots with AF. Plus a 5lb

They aren't all that great (nor manufactured by ricoh), but still good
to hear they are in stores somewhere.

are these all with a filter? I thought greens went pink in IR yet the
lettuce is clearly still green. very odd. Its not what I would expect
at all. I'm so used to seeing extremely processed IR pictures.

the IR cut filter from the sensor, it is seeing IR and

It all depends on how much IR reflectivity different materials have.

OhI see that flash was used I think. That makes a lot more sense.

What kills me is that their facebook avatar is now just the ricoh

smart companies do. Its like ricoh cares nothing about the rich
