My son Greg and I went on a shale watch this afternoon with the Pacific Whale foundation, out ot Maalaea harbor. We saw more whales than on any other trip in the past 20 years. There was a bit of wind, and the sea was rather rough, and that, combined with my failing eyesight and reflexes limited the number and quality of images I was able to obtain.
