Are the early Takumars and Auto Taks uncoated, or perhaps just single coated on the surface of exposed elements? I didn't see mention of that in the articles I read. Shel Single coated. Back then, in pre-SMC times, the Rokkor lenses were better coated (with an achromatic double-coating).

In consideration of last weeks discussion about Getting That Old Fashioned Glow, I've decided to try to pick up a few pre-Super Takumar . lenses. These would be, I believe, Auto Takumar and just plain Takumar labeled lenses. Are there other pre-Super Tak designations of which I should be aware?
