I had despaired of getting my snowdrop pic this year. The plants were buried in snow, and a tree fell atop them in the last storm. But the tree has been cleared and the snow melted, so I managed somewhat of a pic. Not my best snowdrop, but at least I keep my string of about twenty years alive

I've posted a snowdrop pic every year now for quite some time. There a bit late this year, but spring sorta kinda tried to push it's way up through the frozen Michigan ground today. The snowdrop's leaves are still yellow in spots from having been buried under snow and leaves. But the blooms

My annual snowdrop photo. They bloomed Sunday, but I just got around to shooting one today. K-5 with the Vivitar Seres 1 90/2.5 macro (first version), f11 @ 1/125, ISO 800. Love being able to push the ISO for macro shots with the K-5. Love the bokeh of that classic Vivitar lens as well. http
