For a while, I've been importing files directly into lightroom from my SD
cards. I click on which directory I want them to go into, and then click the
specify subdirectory box, which I name with the date and subject.
for example
.../photo/2010b/100930_lumber_rack
All of a sudden, today it has
LR2 or LR3? LR3 lets you pick the destination specifically.

Lightroom 3. It had been working just fine on LR3, and inexplicably stopped.
It may have stopped after I imported some files that were already on my hard
drive.
