I've seen pics of a bear on top of that big rock formation that's in
there. Its hard to see from the fence how they could possibly get up
there. There must be an alternate climb from the other side that is
not as impossible looking.

Thanks for sharing Ann.
My father lives in South Texas, he is 90 and the heat is taking a toll
on him too. He normally walks for his health and now he can't with

I still find it stunning and exquisite. Nice level of detail and texture

Hi Ann!
Good to hear from you!
Today seems to be a break from the heat here in Chicago because of a major
thunderstorm we’ve had for about two days, so maybe some relief is on the way
for New York—maybe the thunderstorm will head by you and wash away the humidity
and heat. It was so bad here
Thanks, Ann! Kind of you to say so.
I really wanted a tad shorter depth of field to create a bit more separation
from the background, so the action would pop just a bit more, but . . . oh well
:-)!

Yeah, that's Mildred. She was very tame. I suspect Hugh Morton was
somehow able to lead her up there & and get her to stay while he took
the photograph.
The aerial view in Google Maps doesn't really show it, but I think the
slope on the far side is less steep.

Thanks Paul. The greens really came out much nicer than I expected.
It was pretty dark underneath the canopy there. The dynamic range was
crazy, if I tried to compensate for the deep blacks, I would blow out
the rest.
