Is there really hope with processing very old film? It's great to hear there
may be . I wish I had seen a post like this a couple of months back, as a

First, I guess the lighting in Toronto's subways are better
than your Tubes.
In car shots are no problem, and it seems that the lighting
in the stations is not too far off the lighting in the cars,
so one can get some interesting shots coming into stations.
