Did Peirce ever give his own working definition of the word knowledge? I know that Peirce thought that our knowledge is fallible, truth is something we only approach in the long run, that scientific knowledge has a social nature, etc., but, again, would anyone on the list tell me more about how

Bill, Joe, list, Well, the Pluto example is an intriguing one. BB: The experiential evolution in the conception of Pluto as a planet can be described as the new information that surprised even the scientists.  This scenario seems to me to fit pretty well Peirce's sketch of the way things
