To Garnett,
     I am the person on this list who from time to time has 
bothered to respond to some of Shawgi Tell's more inane 
missives.  I was told offlist by numerous people not to 
bother, most of the people on the list hoping that if he is 
ignored he will just go away.  Maybe so, maybe not.  
     A bit of history is that he used to be on the marxism 
list doing exactly the same thing.  Curiously there are 
quite a few Stalinists over there who would agree with him. 
Why he decided to switch over to pen-l remains a mystery.  
I gave him a hard time over there as well, but he would 
never directly respond, just as he never does here, viewing 
to do so as "anti-discussion" apparently.  Perhaps he 
figures he is being more "educational" by preaching to the 
unwashed and unconverted over here on pen-l.
