There are reports of widespread anti-US protests all over China. Some
cities are reporting increasingly serious violence against US consulates
which required calling out Chinese soldiers to maintain order.
The waves of protest are not likely to subside soon, but instead are
expected to escalate.

single vote, a proposal by the State Council to revise all local
