It's impossible with pgpool-II 3.0.x.
Upcoming pgpool-II 3.1 will not disconnect connections after online
recovery.

Oh, we don't need the function at all on 9.1?
First, we need the function if we use native replcation mode. Second,
there are few use case which require the function even operated in
streaming replication mode.

Of course we will look into the problem you pointed out in the mean time.

The exception is following case.
1) you have a temporary table called t1
2) you have public.pg_class
3) you want execute a query SELECT * FROM pg_class WHERE relname = 't1'
Without pgpool_regclass, the query might be sent to standby and may
return incorrect result.

If that's impossible for some reason, can we at least pass the master
address to the recovery script? Working without it is unnecessarily
difficult.
That would be easy. I would do it for 3.1.

requires additional libraries?

actually sent. How long did it take before observing the memory leak?
minutes? hours? days?

In this case you should have some error messages in the PostgreSQL

Tatsuo,
As I understand to get option
replication_stop_on_mismatch = true
to work
You need to replace osspc17 and osspc18 part at least in
pgpool.conf unless you set PostgreSQL servers's hostnanmes exactly
same as in the tutorial.

Hello
I've got three nodes in pgpool-II:
sO21 - id:0
sO22 - id:1
db00 - id:2
replication_mode = true
load_balance_mode = true
replication_stop_on_mismatch = true
Hi,
Just out of curiosity, I would like to know if there is any user who
are using pgpool-II on HP-UX. Anybody?
