Hi All.
Who has the best price for plain white replacement tubes for edison standard
size cylinders ? Have quite a lot I need to rebox and have found silly prices
on archival supplies web sites.

Yep, I completely agree with you on this. I've had the same experiences
selling things to flakey buyers. It even happens when I try to give away
free things on Craigslist - Free couch - someone calls and says they are
borrowing a truck and will be over in a couple hours - they never show
The level of aggravation involved with selling anything is sufficiently
high that I usually just trash it instead. The general exception is if
I can eBay the item and then if its unique and/or fragile that is a pain
also as the seller is never interested in paying the actual shipping costs.
One thing I always did do if I couldn't take the machine with me and that
was remove everything that would come off. Reproducer, grill, records,
crank. Everything.That way the remainder wouldn't be so heavy on the second
trip. As Mike said, you know why.
