It probably is an all original machine-no new repro parts, just the ones it
came with originally. The reproducer does look better than other crapophone
units I've seen though.

I'd buy the horn. Someone sent me a hornless crapophone that I am altering
to make it play better. Buy it. I'll give you $15 plus shipping for the
horn.

I'd buy the machine for the reproducer. It is an original HMV No. 5 or 5A. It's
hard to tell by the photos.

I attended CAPS last weekend and wondered what others thought of the show and
banquet. Here's my thoughts... I thought the sale was well attended by sellers
which provided a very nice selection of machines ranging from entry level to
something for the advanced collector. I saw Berliners, Vic

I sent the seller a message and a link to the Crapophone website. He sent me

Hi guys,
I just purchased a Paul Whiteman Victor Picture Disc and I can't discover much
information about it. Does anyone know approximately how many of these that
were made. I believe that it was pressed in 1932, but that's about the extent
of the info that I have been able to uncover.
As president of CAPS and the individual organizing the show I always welcome

This was the 25th annual CAPS show Sale and even in a very tough economy,
they sold more tables, had more early-bird buyers and more overall
attendance than the last two years. Jerry is correct that there was a wide
selection and some very good prices. It was a buyer's market! It was one of
