If you use bullseye the stabilizer in the stuff along with the alcohol will eat
your decals right off. Use a high grade dewaxed shellac
Hmmaybe I'll try Bullseye another time on some practice decals. I have
plenty of striping left to practice with.

Ok, I tried again with the new set tonight, and based on my horrible experience
with the first set, I adapted my method a bit (and used the correct solution
first). The results were much happier than the first time. I have applied all
left side decals except for the stripe that goes around the

Will try that. The second side came off ok. The secret seems to be in using the
right solution for one, and not leaving them in the water too long for another.

Ok, folks I am ready to admit to being an idiot. The first decal came off the
backing a lot faster than I expected and I wasn't ready for it. I totally
destroyed it. And of course it was the large piece with the fancy scrolls. I
was sick about it. Then I did the other side. It was much better.
I'm thinking that's something that would require some practice. I've never
installed a decal myself.

Fresh decals do not require much soaking at all. Over soak and they
will get away from you. Slide the decal on its backing to the edge and
position the backing and then hold the decal and pull the backing out.

Hello everyone
Anyone got any tips about applying waterslide decals to a Victor back bracket?
I haven't applied decals to anything since I was a kid, and I want to do a good
job.
Thanks for all suggestions.

I think that he will custom make any decals, if he has a clean photo of the
