I'm a little confused after reading some of the material on Ben's site. The R-1, R2, C-1 and C-2 were introduced in Sept. or Oct. of 1928. Was there some kind of access to Splitdorf's patents so these machines could be manufactured and put on the market? The first C-2 I owned had all the
