[Phono-L] Questions re. "transitioning a Columbia BF to a BFT"

I am researching transitioning a Columbia BF to a BFT.

Knowing very little, I suspect it is more than taking any old Columbia
back-bract removing the disc tone arm, and finding the correct tone-arm
/for a cylinder player.

So, I would appreciate any guidance you folks may offer, including parts
offers ect.

Thanks in advance

You may want to get the arm first and then get the back bracket that
positions the arm at the correct distance .
