Make a spanner wrench out of a length of wood and two pins placed at the right
spacing.  A couple of small nails should do it.

I just picked up a really nice Grafonola 100 in Oak. The reproducer needs to be
rebuilt. It has the large ring with 4 small holes in it. Is there a tool or a
technique to remove this ring to rebuild it? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I used a wire brush handle to make a spanner for the Edison compression rings.

I have a spanner wrench which I made pins for to fit the Columbia. You
could construct a simple one with nails and a piece of hardwood. Once you
have them spaced correctly and driven in the wood, just cut the heads off
and dress the ends of the nails. Apply a little penetrating oil to the
threads of the ring before you start to turn it.

If you google that domain name you do get a large number of predictable

is unfortunate or worse, in my opinion. If that is what one is into,

At first, I wasn't as curious as you, to Google it... but now I'm really sorry
that I did. If this domain name was bought innocently, I would dump it. I think
I would try: www.mr-opera-phonograph-preview.com

If you google that domain name you do get a large number of predictable
results, including at least one that seems to reference the site. This
is unfortunate or worse, in my opinion. If that is what one is into,
one should at least be discreet about it.

If you google that domain name you do get a large number of predictable
results, including at least one that seems to reference the site. This
is unfortunate or worse, in my opinion. If that is what one is into,
one should at least be discreet about it.

All:

I received the following earlier this year to an inquiry:

Burdette Walters makes the reproduction boxes and lids for Blue Amberol
(orange boxes).

I would appreciate the E-mail contact address to inquire about cost and
availability.

If no E-mail info, any other type would work.

Again, thanks in advance

Heaven help any German San Franciscans.

Now Vinyl Visions, on the other hand, is apparently a purveyor of great
skintight bondage wear and the like. Forgive me for being insensitive,
of course, but don't forget the lube!
