Re: [Phono-L] Phono repair in Orange County CA?

Hi Robert! Been a long time. You might try Pat Jones in Fullerton, he has a
business called Jones' Mercantile. His number is 949-586-7594. There is also
Scott Corbett in Ontario, CA. He's a little farther from you, but I would
highly recommend going to see him because he has an absolutely fantastic
phonograph museum on his property. His number is 909 - 982 - 9241.
Happy Holidays!

Just to clarify: There is NO RESERVE on any of my items in the Donley auction.
Randy Donley called me to say that someone thought I might have placed a
Reserve, but I did NOT.
Also, I've heard that some people were concerned that the Idelia Spruce horn is
not original. It is original. And it is correct for the rare Edison Spruce
horns to have a blonde finish inside, and a dark finish outside. Randy and
another collector agree with me that this is an original horn.

  Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if there are any printed or "known"
specifications for the fabrication dimensions of all of the
different Edison reproducer "S" or "C" hooks that connect the
diaphragm to the stylus?  Like actual center to center
distance, radius on the ends, wire diameter, etc.  Any info
would be helpful as I would like to machine a few small
fixtures to make them instead of trial and error.

Thanks,

I have heard tell here and there that Edison, and possible some other
companies, produced 2/4 minute conversion kits for the Triumph model A
phonograph, but I have never seen one, and I'm not sure I know anyone who has.
Can anyone out there confirm the existence of such a beast?  If so, have you
ever seen one for sale, and what did it go for?
