Good evening everyone, Hopefully, I’ve got the solution to the “membership disabled” emails that a bunch of you got - these were legitimate and came from the Phono-L mail server. They were triggered by changes at Yahoo, AOL, MSN and many other popular email services. Props to Ron Fial over at 78-L for figuring it out and to Darrell Lehman for pointing me in that direction!
If you got a message saying that your membership was disabled, please disregard. I’ve re-enabled everyone from this end. Now, the downside… you will only see that the email originated from Phono-L, not the person who originally sent it to the list. So if you want folks to know who you are, please remember to sign your message to the list.
