I am also having the same problem with debugging on v 1.2
On a fresh install of redhat.
Everything run and done as root and it does not work.
I can do the exact same process with 1.1.x and debugging works without a
prob.
Obviously something is different with this version.
On Tue, 200
There are news! If I take debugging out, then time_limit=300s suffices.
After 165s it had finished and I could seen all 1000 entries. But I mean,
this period of time is too long.

Yes, I've just tested with my 1.1.x and 1.2.x and there is definitely a
tree performance issue with 1.2.x
I'll take a look at it over the next few days if I get a chance.
If you discover anything please let me know.

PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 300 seconds exceeded in

Session files are created by PHP and are stored in the directory as
defined by session.save_path="..." in your php.ini file.

What do you mean with session file? I have comment out in config.php

$config->custom->debug['level'] = 255;

Ralph,
I just tested on this on my test server.
If you increase the search time limit:
$config->custom->search['time_limit'] = 300;
It should render (It did for me - in about 150secs).
I'd be curious to know if this is quicker/slower/the same compared to 1.1.x

Hello,
I use vers. 1.1.0.7 and it works very well (perhaps a bit slowly). Recently
I upgraded to 1.2.0.1 and almost nothing works. It's possible to log in, but
if I click at the "+" on the left side of "ou=People" (about 1000 entries)
it hangs. After two minutes the message "There was a problem wi
