My previous message (in french) was intended to reach only jacques chouteau !
I forgot that the reply button was not so selective and that my post would

Won't do it again!
Well, cheers from France and keep on pinholig!
yes but you can't get an SX70/600 back...that I'm aware of.
I believe someone made an SX70 back for the RB67 (2 1/4 graphlock type) but
they are pretty rare.
I use the other all the time...instant gratification

Did you guys know; Polaroid DOES sell just the BACKS to their
cameras? (the magazine part ) Logically, it seems easier to me to
start by buying one of these, and then build the camera body onto
it, rather than starting from the opposite direction??

I just pulled my copy of The Polaroid Newsletter for Photographic
Education Summer 1986. The article in question shows how to make a pin
hole camera from a 50 sheet 4x5 box and a way to hold the SX 70 pack in
place. They then instruct you how to place this back into the camera to
process it. I
Andy,
It would be great to get complete, illustrated guidelines on how you
did your conversion. I tried a folding SX-70. It was a fun
dismantling project but a complete disaster (between the camera and
the film consumption). I'm not sure it is possible to convert one
successfully. The
Actually what I've found is it is easier to convert either a Polaroid
OneShot (for SX70 Film)
or one of the 600 cameras that DON'T have a build it or flip up flash than
a real SX70. The 600 film is nice because it's more easily obtained and for
a non metered pinhole camera one only needs to clip

Thanks greg,
First off, thanks, I believe that your reply helps me focus a bit.
Well to answer, I could use either. I do have a nice wide angle
glass lens, but any unusual effects I can get will find their way
into something. I had simply heard some rumours that 16mm is too

Julian,
Take a look at http://www.p at ???/discussion/upload/images/pinlady.jpg
(a photo by Claudia Smith). This is an example of just how sharp a pinhole
image can be. (I think this was from a 6x6 negative.) If your negatives are
not this sharp there is room for improfement.

Wow! The effect in pinaccordion is incredible, it looks as if there
are two types of pinhole lens flare going on in it (unless it actually
WAS raining...). Pinfisher looks almost like a zone-plate image.
Was it taken with the same pinhole as the other three?
