Last time I looked polaroid still made Type 669 pack film along with a
number of others. Type 669 is the film used for image transfer.
Well, I was intrigued that you would move to the middle of nowhere...but
then I remembered that by Texas standards you won't be that far from Marfa.
I think it's about 80 miles and is the home of the Chinati foundation and
the newly discovered playground of rich Houston lawyers. Good luck.
Shoot Polaroid Type 55N and your guessing and development worries are over.
I've used this for a while and love it. However, if I use the exposure
tables I've found through this list, I get completely blown out negatives.
I just can't believe that my exposure meter is that far off. Any ideas?
Did you put the leadlined bags in your checked baggage? I've been told that
they just zap it more if they can't penetrate.
I don't have any trouble finding time zero film in Texas. They carry it at
Walmart, Target and my photo store.
Thanks for this info. I tried the email and it bounced back.
The site is in Korean (which I can't read either) but here is the contact

Don't know if any of you know Edward Levinson but I just found some of his
work on a site called www.poem2002.com/ Because I was surprised to find my
images there, I suspect that he will be too. I can't read whatever language
the site uses, so I'm not sure if they're selling the images or
tupperware works ok to a point. you have to be very careful about
scratching the film though.
the best solution is the clearing tanks that hold 10-12 sheets of film. i
bought two to take out in the field so i could keep the clearing solution in
one and use the other to wash. they're great.
oops. pardon the previous posting.
A while back, there was a thread on asphaltum. I missed the beginning and
was wondering what prompted the discussion.

Excuse me
Bill, When you rate Type 55 at ISO 25, is there a need to calculate for
reciprocity failure. If so, how do you do so? I've been using Type 55 with
my Leonardo with some good results but I've just been guessing at the
exposures. I'd appreciate any suggestions you have.
