[pinhole-discussion] World-wide Pinhole Day
Dear All, Since pinhole often reveals the delights of randomness and chance, maybe World-wide Pinhole Day could be selected by pulling a date out of a hat, each year. Every holiday I can think of has a rational, repetitive scheme to determine when it happens, even Easter. Perhaps Pinhole Day could be different each year based on a random drawing. This would give all seasons in both hemispheres an equal chance of being honored by the Pinhole Day designation. Over time, the images would reflect the entirety of human and natural experience. Tom

I like this pinhole day idea... it can get to be a pretty big event if it catches on. Why just the world? There are plenty of pinhole cameras in space. There is at least one on every mission!
