Just installed plucker and plucker-desktop; was surprised how full of
holes the latter seems to be. But now I've figured out how plucker itself
works and am rolling my own. I'm very impressed, in general!
What version of Python?

python version 2.2 ... but I'm betting there's a bug in the parser.
Consider this small example file:
..and I'll bet it works with Python 2.1. Likely something changed in
Python 2.2 that we don't compensate for, hence the problem. Roll back to
2.1, and you'll see things start working
