I don't recall the name of the software, but there's a program that was
mentioned on palmaddict one or more times, that was supposedly able to
turn off the buzzing. ISTR the application also had over/under-clocking
functionality built into it.

Yes, the Tungsten E/Zire7172 have a screen buzz problem. Not sure if
Palm has corrected it. According to many people on the palm boards,
including http://www.brighthand.com, the buzz is caused by the
materials inside being too tightly packed. The processor causes the
humm when it does not have
