Back when SpeekBack.com was alive (dame economy!) we used Skype and Yugma
for the majority of our inter department meetings.
As a warning, the Skype integration is not cross platform, but yugma is
still really cool and plays well next to Skype without the integrated
package :)

I am trying to connect to a Windows VPN from my Ubuntu machine. I was able
to connect with standard settings on my XP machine, but Ubuntu keeps saying
The VPN connection failed.
