Hi, The other night I got fed up and trashed alien. So I re installed it and found one mistake I had made the first two times. When I had the folder Alien Linux I had put the whole thing in the plug in folder, now I have put the plug in part in to plug ins and the bin part into bin. Here is what

The mplayer message is because mplayer is not in a directory on the list of directories that are searched. IIRC The directories that are search can vary according OSX version. However, I think you will have a bigger problem with obtaining a suitable version of mplayer for OSX 10.3.9. Most of

I am a little unclear on this plug-in and see no documentation beyond brief release notes. Questions: 1) is it illegal to stream XM radio via Slim Server to multiple SB's? 2) if it is legal under 1), can this plug-in be setup under a plain jane linux kernel or is WMA a barrier. Thx, EB --

Update: 11th March 07 And now that Java has toady upgraded itself to 1.5.0_11, the same happens. So again I just copied my player file into the ext folder of the new Java lib. Oddly, on my laptop, this file was copied inot the new Java automatically. But on the desktop I had to do it

The version of Lame should not matter. IIRC, the latest Lame is 3.97 but the latest in iTunes to Lame (I've forgotten the precise name) is 3.96.1. I recommended that because it puts its version of Lame in the right place without you having to do anything. bpa is right about the directories that
