With many thanks to Triode, I now have a fully operational mplayer, and therefore Alien BBC. Thanks too to the others, especially Steve and bpa, who helped along the way. This forum works because there are people like these prepared to help others and give generously of their time and knowledge.

User reporting problems clearly also help a great deal. I recall a number of AlienBBC users who have complained of AlienBBC sound quality but without any specifics - I suspect some of them were related to this issue. -- bpa

After even more testing I've got another change for Biography, too. BTW, I do get a lot of Safari Crashes with the Biography Plugin (PC AND iPod, any Skin. What exactly does that inline JS code import? I don't see how anything else could cause this since the HTML code is quite straightforward.

The plugin itself works. However, you stumbled over a doc fault in my Developer's doc. You register pluginiPeng while iPeng actually evaluates plugins*-i*-Peng. I didn't notice that so far since Erland's plugins have been the only ones to do this so far and they do it correctly. Which is kind of
