Have'nt done any testing on hibernation and suspend, only shutdown,

see the opposite problem: the icons never show up! Neither the repeat-
nor the shuffle-icon show up, regardless of the state of the setting.
As mentioned in my previous post, I have the setting Show icons for
Repeat/Shuffle
You will need to remove any manually installed plugins in the Plugins
directory first. If they are already installed, they will be shown as
already installed plugins in the Extension Downloader section of
SqueezeCenter settings.
I don't see any plugins at all in the Extension Downloader screen.

would get a sugarcube mix. Duet controller would show the current
playing song and the next to play. As of last night selecting one song
presents me with a Musicip mix.

It certainly seems plausible. I'm not sure why that'd happen --
SyncOptions only alters the playlist (restoring a saved playlist, which
could be empty) when a client
1) unsyncs from a group
OR
2) powers *off* with SyncOptions set to unsync at power off
Neither condition seems to hold here.

Ok, I've done a quick adaption of the demo script linked earlier. This
allows some nifty features:
- sort by column ascending/descending
- hide/show columns
- resizeable columns
- I'm sure there's more, but I don't know about it...

Downloader, but now the settings page for ResetVolume is blank when I
try to pull it up via player settings in the webUI.

I think support should be asking people to use Michael's cleanup script
now. This has options to remove portions of the cache folder and the
whole folder, but I hope the main use will be to remove the filecache.

That sounds right (on a Mac, I guess). Does the plugin show up as
enabled under Settings / Plugins? (The name is Flash Player Socket

Thanks, that clarified it. I thought I'd set the permissions correctly,
but upon closer inspection I only did the base folder permissions, not
recursively.
sudo nohup chmod -R o+w /usr/media/Music should do the trick, but
I'll have to test on some sub-directories first to be sure.
