I'm sure iplayer uses the same source information, but the xml feeds are
specifically for internet radio use so are downstream of the source
information. What I am wondering about is whether the bbc have
released a new set of feeds or its just that this set is broken. I am
follow up with them.
Looks like this is hitting other users of the xml feeds too:

So we wait for the bbc to fix things

SC now tells me that Mplayer is not found.
By the way I've just noticed that the version of Alien BBC I've
installed is alienbbc-windows-v2.4a4-7.1_7.2. Is this a windows
version? The Linkstation Pro I'm running SC on has Unix.

I've also been waiting to get my hands on 1.8.4 as it supposedly solves

I've emailed James Cridland

Future Media Technology, BBC Audio Music Interactive, that the XML

I tried re-scanning both iTunes and then SC (in that order), and I am
still not getting any iTunes music to play.
I would appreciate any other suggestions.
Thanks.

Have you confirmed that /usr/local/bin/mplayer actually runs
