Hi, I made little change in my CD drive connection, it was connected as
slave, I thought it could be problem (slave without master), so I
changed the connection to master (could be seen in the text file), but
it didn't help... Here's the text file..

Starting Squeezeslave (0.8-25) with --oldplayer I can set ReplayGain in

Squeezeplay works fine with ReplayGain and Bitrate limiting.
Is this expected behavior?
This is on Windows XP SP3.

OK - the problem is not the format of the scanbus output but the fact
that there is no output to process. So either the cdda2wav -scanbus
doesn't run or the output cannot be saved .
1. How is your SC set up to run - as a service or on user login or
manual ?
2. The name of the cache directory
Hi, I'm not at my computer at the moment, but SC starts automatically
when I start computer, have only one user on the computer. I have Czech
version of XP, the correct path should look
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Data aplikací\SqueezeCenter\Cache\

Normal operation for squeezeslave is to print nothing. Did you look in
the SC web interface to see if you had a Squeezeslave player?
squeezeslave -L should list all available devices.
If you see none, you may have run the following command as root
modprobe snd-pcm-oss

Good afternoon,
I'm after a little bit of advise.
I'm running Squeecenter on FreeNAS (details in Sig) and I'm trying to
get the server to go into sleep mode to save power.
I've set up the advanced power saving on the BIOS (hdd powerdown 30min,
system standy 60mins) (WOL works) and set FreeNAS to
I use squeezeslave already from a windows box - it normally prints out a
bit of stuff when it starts - maybe because it's an old version?
Anyway, it's definitely not showing up on the SC web interface, and it
makes no difference whether I provide a valid server ip or not.

Anyone know how to get th this plugin running on a QNAP TS-509?

Can anyone out there advise how I can setup Squeezecenter so that it
allows FreeNas to sleep.
I've managed to get the Server to spin down the disks and reduce CPU to
absolute minimum but I cannot get the server to sleep as Squeezcenter is
keeping it active.
Any ideas, I'd like to save the

I think the login on Canadian Sirius has been the same for a while -
certainly the same since before it stopped working.

the end of TrackStat in its current form since I no longer have enough

Me too. I like being on the bleeding edge and update daily, but there doesn't
appear to be too much incentive to upgrade to SC8, so I would probably stay
