thanks for the response. iTunesUpdate is now working, but the times it
records for last played is off by five hours from my computer time

Nope that didnt help. still doing the 3s loop thing when playing a
track, skipping tracks completely. very intermittent will play fault
free for about 30min then several minutes of rebuffering and
stuttering. any other suggestions?

I suspect this is a permissions issue - when you unzipped it, did you
make sure the username and group of the files is the same as squeezebox
server runs as?

Firstly thanks for a wonderful plugin. Makes a huge difference to my
life as an expat Brit in Australia.
Unfortunately I can't access the listen again streams as of around 12
hours ago. My squeezebox radio gives an error message:
Connection reset by remote host
I have the same problem, live streams are OK, WMA the HD streams are
OK, but I can't play AAC. Nothing has changed at my end (honest guv) -
for example, yesterday evening I could play the Paul Jones show and now
I can't - unless I enable Prefer WMA streams.

Yes, it worked until around mid-afternoon today. I have the same

I have the battery issue as well. I run 1.2.10, but I think I had it
with 1.2.8 too (not 100% sure). I've disabled Notifications, disabled
Push (but I don't use email client anyway). I grabbed some battery app
and measured it several times. On the attachment: first part is only
battery app
Have made quite a bit of progress. I updated the NAS firmware and the
SqueezeServer software on it, and that then updated the receiver and/or
handset.
New options like App Gallery have appeared.
I can now play live BBC stations through it, and I can play the music I
ripped to it as well.

Your NAS may be using another port such as 9001 if port 9000 is already
in use.
You should check using your Duet Controller.
Not sure about 7.5 but on 7.6 details of access to server (and
mysb.com) is under Settings/Advanced/Diagnostics/Server Info

I'm down to a 1-2 second delay now (which is acceptable)
The 20 sec latency was caused by
- the Internet Radiobuffer in SlimServer (resp. for 3 sec)
- virtual audio cable (respo. for 2-3 seconds)
- unkown factors. The delay was there even with input from my
microphone (no virtual hardware
I got there in the end. The last bit of the trouble was that I had used
the URL to access the NAS admin screens which had https not http
Now I can do everything and finally I'm happy. Especially as the music
sounds so much better than it did through the TV!
It did take a long time though.
