Fix artistsort issue on LMS synch.
When different rating in LMS and database, take later without asking (on
LMS synch) - only ask if on same day.
Fix click to fix function on artwork page (clicking on thumbnail fixes
the artwork to that image/text until another is clicked).
When playing a 24/96 or 24/88 FLAC file to my receiver or Radio the more
info reports that it is being coverted to 320kbps CBR MP3. I knew that
neither SB can play 24/48 natively but thought that they would be
transcoded to 24/48 or 24/44. Am I missing a plugin to enable this?

Did you register a bug at http://bugs.slimdevices.com for the inability
to scan musicbrainz tags in m4a files so we can get Logitech to fix this
in a future SBS/LMS release ?
Not yet. I will, and I'll update this thread after I have.
I have now tested all my old playlists and I have just one type which is
causing errors.
They are all generally of this format:
Code:
-- PlaylistName:All by Years...
-- PlaylistParameter1:year:Select 1st year:
-- PlaylistParameter2:custom:Select 2nd year:select
Do you have SoX and FLAC ?
Try to use normal settings in file types file types I think oddball
settings here can trip up transcoding ?

Just an update to an old thread to add my experiences:
I skipped 7.6 totally and reinstalled my entire operating system (Ubuntu
10.04LTS) on to a new small (but fast) SSD and installed LMS 7.7.2. All
other hardware remained untouched with music being stored on a separate
conventional HD.

Does SOX need to be installed separately? If so I don't then no. Where
do you get it and how do you instal it?
Not sure what you mean by file

Excuse me if this has been covered but I can't find a solution. I have
Logitech Media Server (Server Version: 7.7.1 - r33735) running on a
ZyXel NSA 310 and I am using SoftSqueeze (Firmware 2) and BBCiPlay
(v1.2.5). I can't get any BBC radio services, national or local,
FWIW, alpha3 is working on my squeezebox 3.

I'm not sure this thread is still monitored by the developer so here's
hoping:
I'm running LMS 7.7.1 on a Synology DS1511+ NAS. I setup MusicIP
(headless) just as in your tutorials. I had my music analyzed but the
status never changes from Identified (by name only), though it is
green. I
SOX should be installed by LMS and yes it is the application needed for
the transcoding , it should be in the same folder as the other helper
apps as FLAC etc .
FLAC = native , is as it should be what are the other entries in the
FLAC category ?
Also, looking at the log.txt file, it's full of these:
Tue May 08 21:46:52 2012
[0:00] Fingerprint failed (mis-execution): M:\Music\The Goo Goo Dolls -
Dizzy Up The Girl\08 - All Eyes On Me.flac which explains why none of
them change status to analyzed. It looks like the fingerprinting
portion

You need to replace the Plugin.pm file. After you download the alpha,
drill down into the lib - plugins - SuperDateTime and you'll find a
file called Plugin.pm. On my Vortexbox the file goes here:

In iPeng or SqueezeCommander the '2nd year' selection does not appear at
all. I think Pippin suggested that the plugin was not passing the
correct data to is app but I
